Negative Camber Problem

The title says it all. I heard it was from cranking up the torsion bars, bad ball joints, tie rods needing to be pushed out, front end alignments needing to be done, and maybe something else... I was told by the previous owner that the tbars are cranked, but by Clinton that they are not. I'll try to get some pics of the tbars up sometime soon for a reference. But what do y'all think? I'm getting some new tires on very soon, and would love to fix this because my current tires have horrible inside wear. Clinton told me that even having the torsion bars cranked shouldn't affect tire wear... But from what I read online, the top control arm is shorter, causing the top of the tire to be pulled toward the inside of the truck. Is this true? What would solve it?

From this pic, you can kinda see the way the tires are leaning.
 
Have you jacked it up and checked hub assy's and balljoints? Sounds like that's definitely the problem. That or you have a broken camber bolt on the upper control arm
 
Ball joints have been replaced just before I got the truck with Moogs, and the hubs have been fixed multiple times. Still hasn't corrected the problem. And would the broken bolt cause both sides to lean in like that?
 
Broken or loose, yes. They set the camber on that suspension. You need an alignment badly. Never seen camber that far off on IFS like that, even with torsion bars cranked.

Why have the hub assy's been fixed MULTIPLE times? Are they cheap/inferior ones?
 
if you crank the tbars and dont get an alignment youre gonna see outside not inside wear...cranking the tbars adds positive camber
 
That's what I have. On my truck, the top control arm is shorter than the bottom, therefore causing the tbars to pull the tire inward when they are cranked to lift it.
 
that doesnt make sense...usually when you lift a vehicle you add positive camber and when you lower it you add negative camber
 
The torsion bars are only mean to be cranked very little, to level the truck widthwise, not lengthwise. The top control arm is shorter, so when the tbars get cranked, they pull on the arm downward, causing the top of the tire to get pulled inward.
 
like me and clinton said on sunday youve got other issues going on with that front end...a tbar crank alone wont cause that severe of neg. camber...hell even after i cranked my tbars my camber was still in spec...id say you got ball joint wear
 
They're pretty new joints though... Great. We gotta get back up there sometime soon and work on this bitch haha. How much would ball joints be for new ones?
 
I know the front crossmember that holds the control arms has a few dents in it, but I don't think that would affect it. And that's just the way the thing sits on my street. I'll get another pic tomorrow and put it up
