CA has really strict smog laws and i'm trying to sell the truck and have a guy interested coming to look at it this weekend. i'd rather spend the 20 minutes to lift the bed and do a stock replacement pump than mess with an aftermarket inline set up. i could also be really lucky and have these two problems be 100% unrelated since the no start was gone for about a week. i always keep my door open when i start the truck and yesterday/the day before was the first time i can remember hearing the pump prime but the sound not get deeper as pressure built. i learned to listen for the sound the first time my pump started dying.
