Ok. So the 06 tails should fit. I put 01 tails and the reverse went to the top, and the orientation of the socket is what hit the bar thingy. But the 06 has the reverse plug toward the bottom. You should be good to go.

Well, once you bolt the bracket in a drill and good bit work great. Thats in the video also. I used a 1/4" cobalt bit. My first one I installed I used a dremel, that was bad because of the sparks, it burned up the headliner

Wiring is real easy. And for the headliner cut, just start small. You can actually keep the cut about an inch narrower than the bracket and be ok. Just use the bracket for the width measurement. Follow the video and line up that tab with the roof. You can do it! :thumbup:

putting them in my step side, I had to break the little fiberglass bar up inside. The socket orientation was different. And the top plug hit the bar.

it will run fine. I ran mine, actually 2 of my trucks I have ran with no cats. Altho they dont have the resonators. My 97 and my 99 only have a muffler.

Another thing you can do is try and find an older Y-pipe without the resonators. o2 sensors will still be there, but will just be pipe.

Remove the cat. Leave the ones up by the manifolds alone. There is a common misconception about o2 sensors. They detect oxygen in the exhaust. And then tell the computer to lean out or richen up. Even with cats removed they will still function. They just set off the check engine light becuase...

I have done the spacers on 3 TTB/TIB rangers. If you go with them, get the metal ones. They can be had for about $50 on ebay. AAL is another option for the rear.

vss is not needed. Only 1 power wire. and the temp sensor just run to the temp sensor. the blue/red is just for dimmer, so the display would dim with the dimmer, I dont use it. the display is not that bright anyhow. light wires just run from the dome. granted you have to run a solid power, but...

I didnt put anything on mine, just bolted them on :D I think it'll be a little tougher tho, my 97 was BL'ed so had great access into the side....

what wiring do you need? the only wire you need to run to the truck wiring is the console power. Find a key hot and run it.
