Just went few miles then engine just cut off like I turned the key off. tried starting and just cranked over a few times then I started back up and ran great. I checked the terminals which were very clean and tight. I took it out again and same thing shut down with no warning and would not...

Its idles fine its just when your accelerating it does it. but maybe its a iacv symtom . Ill try cleaning it anyway thanks

I just started having acceleration problem at around 2k rpm I almost seems like a little vibration type feel but clears when accelerating . I got no codes . plugs wires replaced along with coil . change fuel filter and added injector cleaner to tank. don't want to keep dumping money in it...

ok ... also when I did compression test the cylinder #2 had around 130psi and all others had 150+ thats why I was thinking of maybe change valve on that one maybe its starting to loss seat or wearing. I will take the other head off tomorrow while I have it apart and check it though. thanks

I just removed the right head and it has a hole the #1 exhuast valve. Just wondering I should replace all of them or ok if I just do the one. And also should I do the other head or is that wasting cash?

Just wonder how many difference in the engines to swap the two 3.0ltrs is. I am debating to buy the ranger motor but if its alot of extra work I am not into it. anyone tried it?

Ok ... The prior owner probably ran it like that for a while without fixing possibly fuel problem. I am just wondering why when we did the leak down test we could not tell the ring damage. I guess soaking cylinder right know is only option then. thanks

with the valve cover off I can see everything moving like it should. Also we did the leak down test with all the plugs out a tdc valves closed and NO air loss with 35psi. Right now I am soaking the cylinder with marvel and rotating it by hand. and hoping the ring will free up if that is...
