please try it. i been wanting to know how these would look they have universal ones as well not just ones for jeeps.
As long as the contours of the housing fits the Ranger Cab I guess it would look OK, not sure what to say. I question that the cab roof front of the Ranger is the same as the cab front of the Liberty, which these came on, check it out. What wattage are these lights I couldn’t see that data ? Also, they are called Fog Lights, for fog lights to work properly they should be mounted low not high. The package comes with a wiring harness but be careful that the power wires (+ & -) and relays are large enough for the amperage; original wiring is minimal at best and if you are going through all of the trouble to run the wiring it should be up to the task not something you will need to replace or worse. Also consider two switches, one for the center two lights and one for the outer two lights AND run the grounds back to the battery, one ground for all of the lights will work but the heavier gauge wire get harder to run through the windshield post area so two smaller wires, one for each set, will work easier. Other Options: 1) Small Roof Rack with Light bar mounted to the rack. Wiring when you buy pair-packs you usually get a minimal harness too so wiring will be the same. 2) Roll Bar (Sport Bar) for mounting lights, more traditional and always looks good. 3) Mount four lights in front of the grille. Just remember to wire the lights according to the total amperage and fuse for the minimum amperage of the components just to be on the safe side.
I would also like to see how it fits along the ranger's contours. I think it could look pretty cool if done right and not a hack job. Please keep us posted if you decide to do this!!!!
im thinking about it also i all ready have fog lights mounted to my bumper but i want these for when im out wheelin at night for hunting and other stuff. but ya when i get the money i think i well order these to see ill keep y'all posted tho
sounds good! i can't wait to see pics of it on a ranger. even the one picture they had on the ebay listing of it on a jeep didn't show very much
ya i know but theres ap many adds of them kinda lights on ebay showing on dif models so it should look really good
Those lights are actually "universal". Here is a site that's $20.00 cheaper. Base Dimensions: 39" (Length) x 10.5" (Width) x 5" (Height With Base And Light) http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/Sp...oof-Fog-Lights-_-Clear-_-LRL_BK980_GN/858689/ This ad shows a lot more images. Is the back open or enclosed? If enclosed then you would have to tear the assembly off the roof to change bulbs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4X-CLEAR-LENS-TRUCK-SUV-ATV-JEEP-PICKUP-ROOF-TOP-OFF-ROAD-STYLE-FOG-LIGHTS-BAR-/290711093928?forcev4exp=true&forceRpt=true
i found a set that have a rear panal that u remove by a few screws to get at that stuff and there like $5 cheaper so i think next pay ill order them
