Hi everyone I'm new to this forum but I wanted to make my skidplates available here. I sell front and transfer case skidplates that are fully Cnc cut from 3/16" steel and brake bent to create the toughest skid available for these trucks. Will fit all torsion bar suspension trucks (and I believe all similar explorers) as well as body lifted vehicles. Pm me for more info or to purchase or visit my website @ www.rcimetalworks.com

    $135 Front Plate Bare Metal
$160 Front Plate Black Powder Coat + Shipping
    $85 Transfer Case Bare
    $110 Transfer Case Powder Coat

Working with Hooligan right now to hopefully develop a design to work with superlifted trucks based on the existing foundation so Ill keep you posted on that... but probably won't make one for lifts larger than that.

Yessss!! About time you came hear man!!
FYI .. I am running Josh's front skid, transfer skid, rear bumper, and rock sliders. All of which are amazing and can certainly withstand a beating !!! I get " high centered " and run over trees all the time and the only thing that happens is I chip off the paint lol!!!

  8. looks nice, your link does not work however

Me too, but I don't have 210+ shipping..

  15. Yeah.... lol I only want a front skid to protect my rad and tranny lines because the body lift exposes em...

Yeah but your transfer case is also exposed..

El Camino Man Thank The Lord For BBFs!

Looks like some high quality stuff. But I dont see any rock sliders as mentioned earlier...

  18. Not really worried about the tcase. I haven't hit it off anything, and I don't do that hardcore of wheeling.

Would you be able to post some pics of how the front skid would be mounted? My front crossmember has a few dents and dings in it from off roading...

The skid mounts to the 4 holes where the stock plastic one goes , does not attach to the k member at all
