the only paint shop around my area that does auto paint isnt in business anymore or at least cant find their number... called a local auto parts store and they can mix the paint for me but cant put it in a rattle can.... and got to thinking i could probably paint the new grille shell with an airbrush.... so i am thinking of buying a good cheap airbrush kit... anyone have any ideas where to find one?

i plan on spraying the grille shell for the 01-03 grille and maybe mess around with it some nothing major.... IIRC the guy said he would mix some paint for me for around 5-10 bucks and they have the clear in the aresol can just cant put the color in one..... so i was thinking about getting a cheap airbrush to spray the grille frame.... and do i have to buy a air compressor strickly for the airbrush... i have a pancake compressor from sear that i can use....

a 5 gallon compressor may do the job just check the sprayer and see what it requires

You should be ok with that. Just wait til the tank fills then spray.
