What is your favorite mod or mods you've done?

the hurst shifter! had it for about 5 years now, at the time i got it my stock shifter had the bad plastic bushing problem, the local ford dealership wanted to sell me the whole top cover assy for the trans (with the shifter forks) with such a part as plastic bushings that wear out, they should have a $20 kit right there at the parts counter as soon as you say "sloppy shifter" orderd mine through summit, yes it does transmit a little more noise than the stock unit, but it works so much better! i did add a 3" extention to mine, makes it feel more comfortable for me. its money well spent. im thinking it was about $200 when i got it, i think its gone up some, but aint everything? id do it again with another ranger. and with 3/8-16 threads for the ball, you can put nearly any knob on it you want. i did end up flipping over the chrome bezel and boot trim, painted them black, it was pretty, but the glare off the chrome from the sun was distracting.

screen grille mod, helps keep the chipmonks out, ha ha, seriosly though, i hated this style grille and the potential for something large being able to take out the a/c and possibly the radiator. i used fiberglass cloth/resin and a few bolts along with some expanded metal, i did this a few years back. its hard to see in pictures assembeled but easy to see on the living room floor. on edit: opps, didnt realize that 3rd photo was a thumbnail, cant edit it out.
