I went to the autoparts store because of some shifting issues...the guy gave me an additive to try, said it wouldn't hurt anything....WRONG!!!:censored: Now my radiator is full of trans fluid...(obviously from the transmission oil cooler)...My question is: Do I have to change the whole radiator or can I just change the oil cooler?? Are they one piece or separate?? It's a 95 Ranger with a 4.0...the trans is a 4R55E.:confused1:

Drain the cooling system and cap off the transmission cooler. Go to a DIFFERENT auto parts store and get an aux. transmission cooler. You should be good to go. You MIGHT need a radiator if the tranny cooler is that far gone though.
