Goodjob Ford, another great decision to do that.

I cant believe your on here Shane. I havent see you posting around for years now. I actually just sold my ranger after having it the last 2 years but will eventually get another one. Good to see your still around and on here, that boosted the overall knowledge of this forum up by about 50% lmao. I wish this forum was more active.

bahahahaha....now don't you be boosting my "i know my sh!t" ego now........ LOL. Nah I really haven't been on any forums for nearly two years now or so. On purpose mostly and just life and importance in general. Don't even lurk. Clinton bugged me enough to join his(this one) and here I am....on occasionally. And attempting to inform mislead facebook hotheads spouting incorrect advice/facts. HAHA. But involving my Ranger, I honestly can't wait to have something new.


But in an effort to try not to stray a thread, Ford's decision to reuse lamp housings is a simple cost cutting measure while making this 1983 dinosaur "refreshed". lol. There's alot of parts that stay the same from one "gen" to another "gen". You know, like bed stampings(dated 1983 for inside/1993 for outside), dash molds(dated 1995), etc, blahblahblah. LULZ. But in a more related note, I believe 06-08 F150 fogs are the same fogs(brackets included) as found in '08-12 Ranger fogs?

They could possibly be, you would think the F150's would be a bigger circumference because the truck as a whole is bigger, so you would think they would have to be to still look right but who knows, ive seen crazier things happen.

If ford did that to save cost then they should have kept the same damn brackets for square fogs from 04-07 instead of just changing out the damn mounting brackets for no reason at all. Im sure the 06/07 bumper inside could have been built in such a way that the 04/05 brackets would mount correctly. (someone messed up there)

As far as stroking your ego lol, I will say you are very knowledgeable but that was more of the fact that this forum is LOW in the busy and knowledge area so thats why you raised it so much lmao. But I will say Clinton is doing a good job of trying to get good members and knowledgeable members to come over here in effort to improve the forum.

But yes they aren't to hard to install. This comes with everything you need, and there is a writeup on the forums. The hardest part is cutting the square in your headliner to bolt the bracket up and then the ohc to the bracket. It isn't really hard, just kinda makes ya worried about messing up, but as long as you measure correctly and take your time and just cut the hole alittle bigger each time, it works out fine.

and there is still a good amount left. Actually the stuff I figured would go first hasn't and vice versa lol. There is an 06 square drivers side view mirror, and 2 alon mag light mounts althought I just did recieve an email about them but I dont know if they are going to buy them or not. BRAND NEW AMSOIL fluids for tranny, transfer case, and both diff's which I cant believe that isn't gone. Shackles new in box which I cant believe aren't gone. Wagner thermaquiet brakes for front and rear still new in box that I cant believe aren't gone. Stock style chrome tip in very good shape, new in box fuel filter, 06 stock jack and handles in very good shape, new square fogs with the 06-07 brackets and wiring harness thats brand new from buggman thats plug n play. Lastly, OHC which I cant believe aint sold.
 
Yes I have 04 fogs with brackets I am selling. I'm surprised most of that hasnt gone, you have dirt cheap prices

yeah me to, thats why I was saying most of the stuff I actually thought would go fast hasn't and vice versa. Every single item that I have for sale, even if brand new still in box is less than you could go buy it. I even went and searched rockauto, went to amsoil's website, etc to make sure my prices were less than they were to buy from the companies. Yeah im technically losing money on them but I cant really use them now, so some money is better than keeping it and having none.

hmmmm.... See I've got my bumper off and going near a Certifit this week. I have to keep the 01-05 chrome upper on the truck otherwise it looks retarded. lol. Damn these decisions.

Heres some pictures for ya Rob. Like I said they aren't painting booth perfect and smooth and you can tell where there was alittle surfact rust that was painted over but never the less its still world's above them not being painting lol.

Everyone turned out pretty good except for one there was a paint spot missing. It looks like someone touched it while still wet but acourse when I asked everyone, no one had any idea! Typical. But I threw some paint back on that one and will just have to throw it in the box tomorrow but all the other ones are finished.

I also threw in a huge back of random bolts/nuts/ etc lol. It had been so long since I used the box they came in, there was just tons of extra things thrown in there with it, so I said what the hell ill just give it all to ya just in case you ever need any of them. Yeah I know im a nice guy lmao. But heres some quick ones that I snapped.
