speed restriction

Do all Rangers have speed restriction, I have it on my 2001 Flareside... I dont have any restriction on our 2002 Explorer...Can it be removed??

I'm not sure if it does or not.. I've gone up to 80mph, and nothing cut off on me..

I can't see why a person needs to go over 80.
 
I have an 01 4x4 stepside with a 4.0 and 4.10 gears and it stops going any faster at 101 to 103. Revving like a mofo, haha. So yes there is a restriction on mine. How to take it off, not real sure. But I wouldnt like to go any faster it seriously felt like the truck was gonna fly off the road.
