You're gonna want to cut out the rust, paint any bare metal black to stop the rust from spreading. Get a sheet metal and weld a patch on, fiberglass it, and paint it. The holes on my Dakota were clean through to the inside of the door, and now they look like they should again.
Post some pics up, I'll save em. Send em to my buddy, then tell you what he says to do. Or better yet, text em to me then I can just forward them onto him
there are 7 rangers i can choose from within a 100mile area of me in a junk yard, not one of them are anywhere close to my color, and im pretty sure they may be just as bad
LMC has door shells for a decent price...350 per door...thats not too bad and you get a brand new door for that price...a lot of JYs will charge more for doors heres a link http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fr/full.aspx?Page=25
where do i get this POR15? and its not surface rust, is starting for cab side and starting to show on the outside
What year truck do you have? It doesnt look like you have it in your sig. Do me a favor and make one please. If it isnt surface rust, I would definitely suggest just getting a new door. And POR15 is available at most decent auto parts stores (NAPA, O'Reillys, etc) POR means pain over rust. That stuff and Chassis Saver are amazing products. It dries glossy and feels like a powdercoat almost.
dont care how expensive, somethings are worth the money, and i bet i can get my dad to order some threw his work and get it super cheap
