ROTM Members rule suggestions

i say after a year than all the trucks go into a truck of the year and that truck gets the prize. i agree giving a prize to every winner will make them want it and cheat for it. but if that were to happen than to bad for them they get taken out of the contest and no prize for them is how i see it.

And I think we just neded a reminder about ROTM.I say let it run for a few months and if low participation is seen, suspend it for a few months and come back to it

i have a better idea. dont make it every month. every other month or pick 2 months in winter 2 in summer and 2 in fall or around that order. if it is seeing such low numbers make it less but still keep it. i dont see the need to completely throw it out the window even if it is till there is more activity. this forum has alot more activity than 2 ranger forums i am on so i think it is doing fine.
 
**** it this is all really simple. We all made suggestions so pick some you like and start the contest or dont start it at all.

Everyone think about it. ROTQ is made for this forum not enough activity to do it every month. Idc if im TOTM or Q anyways, but I do know I dont want it handed to me.

We had a total of 27 votes in my poll I posted so thats 2 years for everyone to get there ROTM thing. Then what? Ranger of the Decade? You say suspend because monthly is going to work, but yet ROTQ is expanded to 3 months and wont work either? Or is it to much work for you guys to do?

This all needs to be settled and set on what were going for within the next 2 days or we dont need to have a contest at all. Im happy just doing photo contest if I can remember to take a picture.

Get all this settled and set all the suggestions are in and I doubt anymore suggestions are going to get any better. Be a Leader and not a follower start our own forums trend.
 
Easy buddy. Were here to make suggestions, not to get our asses ripped for it. I think weve basically got it figured out, were just waiting for someone with SENIORITY to tell us the outcome

Yeah I know I just think we all gave good suggestions and that somethin should come out with what we said.
 
This is the deal. My idea is the best and fits like a glove. However, it does not want to be adopted because then its going with one persons idea and not involving others. :p :whistling:

We're reading ALL of the ideas and keeping them in mind. We want to take the best of all ideas that will work best with our current membership.
This won't happen overnight and it may not be 100% loved by everyone, but we can always adjust it as needed as the forum grows. We want to make it simple and fun for everyone. We'd also like our rotm to be a little different than others too.

If you took the time to read my post in the start of the thread, maybe your attitude will change. Read the last statement as far as how long we will keep it open for discussion.

It may be best in your mind, but this thread is open to ALL members suggestions, not "Hey Pooleo, what is your suggestion?"

I am closing this thread today. It has been a week and seems like the attention span is gone for some. The suggestions WILL be taken into consideration and WILL be discussed amongst the staff.
