rhino line inside floor board

I was thinking of stripping the carpet in the cab
an replacing it with rhino liner or rustolume

has neone done this before....
How do u think it would look...

It would make it a hella lot easier to clean
 
I have seen it done, it looks great...BUT the smell of it lasts a real long time and comes back on the hot days. I myself would never do it because of the smell, I would throw in a vinyl flooring, but the choice is yours. Think it through real well before you do it because once its on, IT'S ON!!
 
i did it to a mud run truck i had, it worked great but what hooligan said, when its hots it stinks, and it really doesnt clean up that well
 
yeah it will definitely be a task alrite. I used the 3M paint stripper wheel with my eletric drill when i prepped my bed and the frame for por-15 and it really worked well so i was thinking of using something like that.
 
That would be the problem i live in south Texas its hot 10 months out of the year
maybe vinyl work but it was just the thought

an another question has neone rhino lined the bottom of theyre truck
i think i would be a badass idea

Or go for a Edge stock vinyl floor. You have no sig and no truck info so we don't know if this option is available to you. I have an Edge package vinyl floor in mine. Very easy clean up.... I take interior detail spray to it and wipe it down with a microfiber. If really filthy, wet rag to agitate the mud/dirt, then the interior detail spray and wipe. Looks brand new when the vinyl is 9-10 years old.



Talking about temperatures....idk why. If assuming removing carpeting will make for a cooler interior temp, rest assured. There is no difference. If anything, it'll be hotter because the carpet and jute act as a heat and sound barrier. Granted a very minimal one, but still they serve a purpose. Plus, who really wants to live with a truck that's half taken apart(missing any floor covering)? Especially if it's their only mode of transportation?
 
i'm with these dudes. go to the yard and pull a vinyl floor or get that^.

IMO, bedliner doesn't even clean up that easy, short of a pressure washer, which you aren't about to use on your interior (i'd hope) not to mention your going to have exposed wires and **** to hide.
 
I did it to my truck. I used the dupli-color and there is no smell fwiw. I also put a rubber mat down over it. I think it helped with sound control alot. Although thats not why I put it on.
 
please dude do not rhinoline your frame. iv heard horror stories of people doing that and it falls off the frame in big chunks or it collects moisture and rots frames out. and trust me fixing broken frames is not fun at all.......
 
I used herculiner on the inside of my old mud truck and LOVED it. It smelled horrible for a week afterwards tho but didnt smell at all after that. I loved being able to just take a scrub brush to the floor and not worry about it molding or mildewing.
