Might aswell put a thread up

Basically, the stock 1156 bulb for headlights in my John Deere L120 dont cut it during winter. I plow the sidewalks with it, and well, the sun goes down at 5:30!! I need to be able to see!!!

So, the MOD!

9007 bulb install.

Here are some pics.

wiring schematic. I got ahold of fireranger for help on this. This dia. shows running off a center-off switch. I want to run the low beam from the factory key switch and then a rocker for high, but also when I flip the switch for high, it would kill the low side power. Still working on that. :D

U know Pooleo I am getting new hids this winter. Would u like my hids for Ur deere?

so, I have realized, that I will not have a beam pattern. :( So, I have an extra set of headlight lenses (ranger) I will cut out the center to fit the shape of the tractor light. This should give the beam pattern I will need.
