who wants a v8?
just wanted to post this...i got a programmer for my truck and noticed an amazing difference, so if you have the cash layin around one get one!!recentlly un-programmed it and it runs like crap aganin.so buy a programmer you wont regret it
 
it was $300 i believe superchips i love it, great power and it makes it shift hard like it has a shift kit...it did wonders for my 3.0 so i bet id work even better on the 4.0

Hmm. Well I will have to look into a superchips programmer.. is a programmer the same thing as a tuner?
 
ya its the same thing...i know bully dog makes one...i think for a ranger cause ive heard they work on anything (gas tuner works on all gas models) there like 500 but u can tune on the go and it gives trans temp,avg mpg,etc.i know two of my buddies have em and they love em
 
I have a superchip programmer for my 4.0. Bought it for 250 at the 4x4 jamboree in bloomsburg last year through A&A. It took my rev limiter off and my governor. It runs like a raped ape now and when I haul my 700lb quad around I switch it to tow mode and it don't even seem like I have anything in the bed. I love mine. got 123,000 miles on and it runs100% better then when it was brand new
 
bought a superchips flashpaq tuner on sunday...hoping its waiting for me when i get home from work tomorrow
 
i cant wait until i find out the power gain...and it is CAI compatable so itll get the most out of it
