Official build thread.

Yup It's so much easier to spend the 10 bucks or so per insert. Plus the inserts are hex shaped so I dont scar the tubing all to hell when I go to align it.

Crossmember is in. As of now, at full flex, it does not need recessed for driveshaft clearance. We will see once my x-arms are in.

looks good, and close to the shaft too, what kind of clearance you got between the member and d shaft?
 
Less than a half an inch. But it's so close to the pivot point, it doesnt hit at max flex. I'll see if I have to trim it once I get the x-arms in.

Well here's how she'll sit for the next month. What's sad is that's full droop. Baha, I'll more than double that when it's all said and done...

Dude, that is just crazy!! We need to get our trucks together soon. Last time they were, mine was higher so I have to see how much higher yours is!
 
Lol no. Im swapping in a Manual T-case here sometime this winter so I'll have to cut up the diamond plate a little lol.
