Not my first ford, but my first ranger. Just bought a 97 xlt 5 speed w/131k and immediately thought I'd find a forum.

When I started here, the "rule" was that you had to put down a basic description of your truck, as your signature (see my sig as an example).
That way, if you have an issue and want to ask the forum for advice or whatever, anyone who sees your post will know what you actually have.

Yeah, that's pretty standard across all forums. I just didn't get a chance to dig in yet. I'm on it shortly
