Hey!
Names Mky and I have a 97 Ford Ranger hoopdee. Last weekend I was coming out of the big dig, going up hill and the peddle was to the floor and it wouldn't go over 55 and then started going backwards and was doing 45, luckily the hill isnt too steep. Scared the crap out of me as people were flying around me and it was dark. Seems like when I am going down hill it will go to 70 no problem. Having trouble finding answers on the web and my other problem is being short on cash, long story. Hoping it's something simple.
Also, don't know if this matters but I have to keep the gas tank half full or more to keep it from stalling. Mechanic said it wasn't worth fixing as it's costly. But lately I am not sure I trust him. It's another long story as to how I ended up with this thing.
Any advice is appreciated.
