my next daily driver??

wow why are they so expensive?? thats more than my truck!
I live in a region where honda civics run the ricer scenes. Too many of them have fart cans and think they can race along from light to light. They seem to have a high risk of speeding, accidents and thefts (lots of late 90s Civics get stolen in my area) therefore they demand a higher insurance premium.

My 1992 Honda Accord EXr was over $2000 to insure back in 2006 because it was a honda, my age, and the fact that it was the EXr (not a bigger engine just 6 OEM HP more over the standard 2.2L of the other honda accord's of the same year) The insurance company was afraid I'd become a ricer.

they might seem big but they are manageable. Altimas are great cars after 2003 either the 2.5L or the 3.5L are great engine with the 3.5L being slightly better (that engine won lots of awards) the 2.5L is all you need (175 HP) and the 3.5L is more then you need but fun (240 HP). I'd drive an altima before a Corolla, Camry, Maxima, Lexus IS series, Focus, Fusion, etc. Its my Fav midsize car.

Not really, I sold my 1999 Pontiac Grand Am with 173,000 Kms to buy a 1992 Honda Accord with 287,000 KMs and the Honda was a lot more reliable, Just make sure the maintenance is up to date, good history and that it passes a picky inspection.

yea my friend has a 02 maxima with the 3.5l and its nice, he bought it loaded for like $5200 and under 150k miles. he said he gets like 26 mpg which is mixed driving, it should be in the low 30s on the highway right?

ok i see what you mean, thanks man

are volvos this year a POS or are they just this decent of a deal?

I wouldn't buy a volvo, you could buy a comparable vehicle with the same performance for less hassle. Parts are hard to come by (volvo dealer only) and once the electrical goes good luck not dealing with volvo for fixing it since not just any John Smith tech can fix it. The T5 has good power but these cars are more known for their safety features then anything.
