Finally getting to work on my 2000 XLT 3.0.The p.o. blew the head gaskets and I got it for $500.

Something seems to be missing.... it's about 7" long and 5/16" in diameter with a hole in it. haha.



Looks like a fun little project. I would've killed to have got it for that price!
 
Lol, smooth sailing so far.And we jumped on it for that.

Should I put the heads off with the manifolds or pull the manifolds off the heads?
 
I was thinking about selling my truck and stealing this one instead... But that 3.0L just turns me off. So I'm keeping mine, lol.

Nice score on the truck. How many miles are on it?
I bet with some work that will make a great daily driver.

It may be, lol.

180k on the clock. I plan on flipping it. I'm thinking about asking 4200 and going from there.
