my uncle had to do that to the cover i used to have,

The cover has water bubbles in it because it was sitting on the ground for seven years, so it's gonna have to be sanded down and repainted.

alright later man, and i had a 13 inch gouge out of the back of mine it was deep. fixed everything, it looked perfect dude.
