Hi. I just bought a 93 ranger. V6 4.0l for $800. It runs pretty well. The problems it has is the front wheels don’t engage in 4x4 and the steering pulls very hard right. The steering seems very loose and the steering wheel is not in the proper position relative to tire location? Does anyone have any suggestions on where i start with 4x4 system and the steering/suspension issue? Thanks in advance!

    I'd start with the hubs.
Could be one side is engaging and the other isn't.
Why? could be a thousand reasons.
Does it have big tires on it? That could account for a loose steering box.
The cure is likely a new steering box.
Have it aligned while you're doing all this front end work, too. It can only help.
