I believe you have an OHV, and not a SOHC right?
Why do you want it to go faster? It's a truck, NOT a mustang. Put a set of headers on it w/ a custom exhaust. I EASILY gained 25 hp when I finished that on my truck. If you have the cash, get a bigger throttle body.
Just want it faster. Lol, but im getting exhaust next week sometime. And how much would the throttle body cost you think?
A bigger throttle body may allow more air to be drawn in ...but your motor will only take so much air so the air will move slower so it really does nothing for you, I believe its worse than a stock throttle body
how about drop a 5.0 in it
Exhaust and an air intake. That'll gain you the most amount of power. I'd recommend headers to high flow Magnaflow cats and a Magnaflow catback exhaust system.
put a 5.0 in it. Everything cost money and all this stuff isnt cheap but its worth it.
WHAT! do you want faster!
Top end speed?
Picking up women?
Picking up guys?
BTW, FWIW, its a truck, not a sports car.
Did you really gain much from the headers?
What kind of headers did you get?
Slap a set of 4:88 gears in there, truck will wind up REAL quick.
Course, I'd hate to see your MPG then... lol
Then you'd be topped out at like 75 lol. But. You'd get to that pretty damn quick..
5.0 swap or a turbo if you got the scratch...to get u goin faster go with a programmer, yes they are exp. to but worth it, i got one best mod ever gives you power and mpgs
Franchi can hook you up with a tuner
For sure can!
Can even get it to compensate for those 4:88 gears....
I call those gears the old school governor tactic. lol
Drop in a 6.2L and your lethargy problems will become history.
