because if the hub did not break, it would transfer right up to the drive shaft, then T-case.

i have a spare. i'm one more hub away from an sas with a zj 30 and a clayton long arm.

Bigger tires cause more stress on your hubs because they are a lot heavier than factory spec

came with 31's stock, 33x10.5 won't be to much heavier.

I shouldn't really affect them too much, but will wear them out faster still. Any bigger tire will have more rolling resistance and cause more pressure to be put on the hub.

from the mt i have now to the at im going to is 18lbs heavier.

I think you'll be alright. It'll take a few miles off the life of them, but nothing too major.
