My name is Al and I own a 2003 Ranger, the crewcab version for sale in Mexico. I've been lurking the site for a while and registered just to have another source of information on what to do when an issue comes up on my rig.

Here are asome pics of my truck. It no longer has the aux. lights by the grille, just a mesh covering the entire back:

Now that is nice if I had seen one of those when I was shopping I would have jumped on it! So much more interior room and so many more possibilities! Set up right it would make an excellent budget bug-out vehicle!

How does it do with the 2.3

It does just fine. The 4.56 gears sure help move the truck with ease. Top speed is 75mph. I've never dared to go faster.

that's not bad, and year you really don't need to go past 75, so that works!
