Hi,

I just had one of the fuel injectors in my 1990 Ford Ranger replaced. The truck is running much better than it was but now the "rear antilock" light is on and the left turn signal won't work. From what I read, the light being on could just be a bad connection, and I'm leaning towards this being the problem since it was not on previously. Not sure about the turn signal...

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

The turn signal is probably your multifunction switch aka combination switch. It is the whole arm. It only takes five to ten minutes to replace and should only run about $55. Check your brake fluid to see if its low. If it is low that will cause the light to come on.

Hi Hurley,

I checked the brake fluid and it is full. Any other ideas on the "rear antilock" light? Also, could it be the combination switch even if the right turn signal is working fine? I do I remove the whole arm?

Thanks!

Do your hazards work? If they do then I would say it is the combo switch. You do replace the entire arm. It shouldn't be very hard to do. On my truck it is three screws under the steering wheel then two more holding the arm in. As for the brake issue, I'm not sure what it could be. Maybe a sensor?
