Most of the time there are extra wires in case you have other tv/screens in your car but it should tell you what they are for on the directions

Check the fuse, and make sure your negative terminal is re-attached lol. Also check the 12v switch power, If you spliced it or and ignition 12v, you may have the wrong wire attached there.
