me either.... i almost wanna start on it tomorrow.... but then i wont be able to drive to work and back next week....

wish ford still made my paint i would definately paint it to match my truck..... but damn ford dropped it in 01 or 02 cant remember exactly when.... havent check to see how much it would be to have it mixed yet....
 
i know the paint code so dont need to match it.... i may see about that this week while i wait.... if i cant get it sprayed my mechanic may know some one who will do it pretty cheap for me....

I got a PPG rattle can mixed for me at an autobody supply shop. All I brought in was the paint code and they made me a can. Clear coat was a separate can and it looked OEM. Best of all, it cost me a total of around 45 bucks for paint and clear. I'd post a picture but i don't want to clutter your thread anymore lol.

you just need to be careful when you're spraying, its not regular rattle can paint lol
 
dude if your tryin to help by all means post pics.... hmmmmm friday i may be runnin to the paint shop..... how many cans of color and clear did you get?

I got 1 can of color and 1 can of clear and still had about half the can of color left and 3/4 of clear left.

damn the only thing i need to get now is a powerdome but that will have to wait til i get some spare cash..... about how long did it take you to swap?
 
It took me about 30 minutes to do with a friend helping just to line up the bumper. Did you get the Ep27 flasher already? you'll need it to get rid of the hyper flash once you pull one of your blinker bulbs out on each side. (don't tape them up, they'll melt electrical tape and smoke once hot)
 
no not yet i was gonna wait til friday and pick one up when i run to the bank to get my check.... can i get the flasher at autozone or do i have to order online?

I got mine at advance auto so im guessing autozone should have them too. Its just an LED relay. goes right under your dash above the gas/brake pedals. when u take a bulb out per side, tape the socket to prevent corrosion too.
