getting another ranger tomorrow!!

hey guys just thought i would let you know im getting another ranger tomorrow its a 1992 2.3, 5-speed manual, 2wd, long box. just going to be a great beater while i build my 93 4x4 f-150. the truck has just had a resent body job they painted it white with a red pin strip. new clutch and new brakes the only problem was the frame rusted out in front of the rear spring shackle but i can fix that easily i couldn't resist for $400.00 bucks ( thats canadian) i will post pictures when i get it home
 
dude that is such a sweet idea. having a beater while you fix up something nice, i really need to look into it, cant wait to see pics!

ya here is an up date on her. SHE IS ****ed i had a friend of mine look at her to see what she needed for up keep he said there is about 6 feel of frame on the drivers side that looks good but he could put his screw driver through .. it had homemade spring shackles it isn't the proper motor (supose to have a 4 plug motor it had an 8 plug motor(96) ) not the right trany no gas tank straps ...... now if i would have know this i wouldn't have bought it but when i got it it was packed full of snow and i couldn't see anything good enough other than the crack im sooo pissed and the ***hole wont take it back GRRRRR!!!!!! ... but i might have sale for the motor whick will give me almost all my money back

Maybe if you break her down and sell some of the good parts you can come out ahead.

You could probably take some sort of legal action, but that would cost you more than the truck is worth.
 
ya i was thinking about going after the guy for my money but its not worth it i will see if i can sell parts off it then sell whats left to the scrap yard
 
You may want to threaten with a letter from an attorney, or tell him you are hiring an attorney and see if that makes him give the money back.
 
for 400.00 buck it doesn't really seem worth it .. i think i have sale for the motor the guy was going to bu an 8 olug 2.3L from the junk yard and take hos chances but i will ell mine and he can hear it run
