I have a 91 Ford Ranger 3.0 and need to replace the fuel pump(gauge doesn't work accurately) Should I remove the bed to get to the fuel tank or is it easier to drop the tank? I got an estimate of $800 to replace the fuel pump. I'm doing it myself! Just need some tips

i suggest removing the bed if you have the proper tools. it will most likely be really rusted and most of the bolts will either be stripped or broken so be ready with a grinder.

Remove the bed. Its a pain in the arse to drop the tank and try to blindly remove the hoses from the top
