The reason you c-notch your frame is so the axle has the clearance necessary when you drop all the air out. Quite a few people also sell bolt on "kits" Although I would rather see it welded in for structural/inspection purposes.
Lol go from jacked way up to slammed. Iv seen it done... Dropping a truck sounds cool but idk about the notching...
The notching sucks if you don't have a good welder....i built a nissan minitruck that i had to notch the frame on!
