Driving in 4WD with front hubs unlocked bad?

    Is it bad for the truck (with manual hubs) to be driving in 4WD with the front hubs unlocked?

    Actually, was able to find some info online. It looks like the consensus is that it's OK to do this in 4 hi but not in 4 lo...

    Yes in low or high, just watch the speed.

    Also, using low when not in 4x will result in a lower rear wheel ratio so you will end up with a little better moving power.

    Driving with your hubs locked, wont do any real damage, just excessive wear and tear on all the drive parts.

    Just make sure they are completely unlocked! You will destroy your hubs if you dont!
