Cleaning air filter

no it doesnt need to be reset and go to autozone or a parts store and get a K&N recharger kit and read the instructions on it. i have one as well it is simple wash it out let dry oil it the right way with the spray let dry a bit than install. dont put to much oil on it for the reason it will dirty the mass air flow sensor and throw engine codes and might make your engine seem sluggish and suck gas a bit more.

I clean mine about every 6 months. My truck isnt driven that much so if its your daily driver I would say do it every three months to be safe

i offroad alot and get water and sand on it and i do it like twice a year. if tou do it right you wont need to do it often

ii waited like 25k lol. not that bad, some of the bugs are hard to get out of there! i used that new cleaner for it in the black spray bottle, worked nice.

yeah i got the black bottle spray stuff to. works good.

I do mine quite often, but i drive a lot. best thing to do, is just check it every oil change and see what it looks like. i get an oil change every month, so im checking it quite often.

during the summer i find i have to do it a lot more, thanks to all the dust and bugs. but late fall, winter, and early spring it doesnt need to be cleaned often.
