Body Lift or Suspension Lift?

3in body lift is perfect for 33s

Kinda unless u flex well offroading and the sheet metal from the bed rips lugs off Ur tire. Or in my case even though I have Skiny 33 tires the sheet metal ripped into the sidewall of my tire 3/4ths the way around it leaveing a gash. U have to be careful with 33's if u offroad. The best set up for the ranger is 3 inch body with 32/11.50/r15 or whatever rim size u like but that size is best for the 3 inch body lift. Always stuffing a huge tire to make it look good or wider to grab more traction is Deff not the best way. As well as u loose HP and torque with a bigger and wider tire. The smaller and Skiny the agressive tire the more power gets to the ground. Giving u the traction by cleaning out the tire lugs for a fresh bite.

I figure 4 inches plus 3 with a body lift would give me 7 inches of lift! But thats a lot for a Ranger lol. I think Ill probably just go with a BL unless someone new comes on the market with a good, cheaper suspension. 3" makes these trucks look huge IMO

It really doesn't give u the 7 inches u think. And its for looks only cuz the 4 inch suspension didn't change anything all it did was add 4 inches to the suspension we already have and hate. The front is still stiff as froozen nipples in the walk in freezer.

Mine alreayd rides like a ban wagon with the wheels and tires. But I dont think Id really use a lift. Itd be more for looks than actual off roading. Although I would like some extra ground clearance. I looked underneath my Ranger the other day and realized theres not a lot of room between the t-case and ground lol

Simple add a leaf in the rear and crank the front bars fixes this.

Depends there are a lot of sales out there if u find the cheapest one go for it. Make sure there is a return warrenty too.

Quoting this cuz i edited it

Do NOT stack blocks in the rear. That is a no-no and might get you killed. Plus it puts added stress on your leaf springs due to the MASSIVE amount of axle wrap stacked blocks give you.

Can I just take some rear springs off another Ranger at a junkyard and stack them? would that be a cheaper way to go?

But leaf springs are like what? an inch thick? Add 4 of em on there and BAM! Youve got 4 inches of lift and a ride rougher than a dump truck loaded with concrete!

Its my DD for the most part. But I hooked our trailer to it the other day and loaded our tractor onto it. It didnt squat very much. I was surprised!
