bed liner decisions

which DIY bedliner??

does anyone know if either MELT in very hot climates? as it gets 115* here somedays and stays in the 100's * for days on end I would like to know also which is better cause I am thinking of doing this
 
word of mouth, not saying i believe it, heard herculiner gets rubbery, but..... both contain rubber particles, so assuming it gets hot rubber gets flexible..so i dont get the whole rubbery thing.

I've had two trucks that got sprayed (2004 f150 and a 2002 tacoma) with an upgraded for of line-x and had no problems at all. Most, if not all installers offer a lifetime warranty against peeling, melting, and things of that nature.
As far as the heat I've had no one complain about such an issue, then again I didn't have my truck the day it hit 120 here.
If you want it done right call my guy over at Universal Linings. He'll set you straight and he's the cheapest and most reliable I've found. He even lets you watch them do it. He sprayed my tacoma first and at that time it ran 300, that was 4 years ago, he quoted me 359 two days ago for my ranger short bed to get over the rails sprayed.

Iv HEARD any liner works well as long as you prep it right. If you dont prep it, itll peel and chip just like paint.

I say Duplicolor just because its name brand but I have zero experience from either one
 
Zero experience here too but DuPont has been a major player in paint for a long time.
I will be using it to patch my Line-X Spray on.
As El Camino Man stated prep is the big thing.
 
I used the Herculiner kit that AA/AZ sell (Sister got it for me for my bday)
It is nice, and is holding up great!
