Ok, so then flex is not an issue for you then leafs would be fine, there is coil trucks on 37's but leafs would probably work better for what you're wanting to do. And good thing going with 60's if you're going to be hard on it with mudding.
were do u guys go mudding
i see u r from McClure PA thats y i was asking because i go up to treverton every cuple weeks
I mainly go on trail runs, don't hardly mud anymore so don't know of mudding specific spots.
there r alot of trail rides in treverton u should try it some time
Alright, post a trail run thread here whenever you go and see if ya can't get some interest amongst the forum.
sounds good as soon as i get my ranger up and running
How far is McClure from W-B?
Damn lol I would have joined you guys on some of them trails... Haha
u still can i drive 3 hours to go up there and usually stay for the weekend
do u guys do snow maybe i will set up a trip in about a month
I had my truck for the first snowfall here, and had it out once. It handled pretty well.
dose anyone wont to give a hand with doing a sas i have a shop, lifts and any other tools u could posebly think of
i have a place in clarksummit if u no were that is
i have 6 acers
I go to Keystone College lol Of course I know where that is xD What's that?
I'd personally run Coil springs. First off, they're gonna be cheaper than leaf springs (A LOT), 2nd, if you DO end up doing trails/rocks, you have the flex you need, and 3rd...that dana 44 axle I was talking about already has coil mounts on it. You would need to do a lot of fabbing to run leaves.
Oh and 4th like teamexplorer said, steering is soooo much easier with coils.
And I'd be down to help w/ an SAS...I have it pretty much down to a science.
any idea on wut i am looking at for a price for materials
**** aint cheap
$300 axle/radius arms
$250 new brakes, bushings, balljoints, etc.
$300 for steering setup
$250 for coils
etc etc etc... I could go on and on. And dont forget gears, install kits, lockers, etc.
