90 ranger 2.3l engine block coolant drain plug

i dont think they have drain plugs in the block.what you wil have to do is go to an auto parts store and ask them for a flush kit it will come with a t adapter that you will need to cut a heater hose and place in it and clamp it in with some hose clamps. then you drain the radiator and attach a garden hose to the adapter. turn the water on with the drain open and the radiator cap off and let the water run for about 25 to 30 mins. i forget how much the flush kit costs i dont think its more than like 10 bucks. that will let you flush the block out. and when your ready to fill the radiator back with antifreeze it will have just enough water to run a 70/30 mix of water to antifreeze.
 
The only reason I said it has plugs is because I bought a Haynes manual and it says to pull out the block drain plugs to drain the block, but of course they don't say where they are or have pics of it

look above the oil pan rail for a pipe plug (could be square head or allen) if no find, knock out a easily accessable freeze plug to clean out correctly.
