My truck is a great vehicle. It is great to drive, good looking and works hard. My truck will not go faster than 88 miles per hour. Dealer said top speed dictated by ECM set by factory. Any info or advice?? Frank

ford puts a limiter on most cars. this means it will not let you go over a certain speed. be it because the car will spin out, or the tires can not handle that speed. but either way, its a truck. trucks were made to haul loads, not do 100 down the highway. my truck only goes 91ish.

Well, 88 MPH got Michael J Fox sent to the past....I think that is fast enough lol.

    Question.

WHFH do you need to go even that fast, let alone faster?
