03 front bumper conversion

Hello everyone I have a question I have a 03 XLT ranger that I want to convert the front bumper to a edge bumper I love the color matching bumper is it possible what do I have to do? unsure:

all you would need to do is either locate a bumper the color of your truck or find one and have it painted then unbolt the OE one and bolt the new color match bumper on..

Ok great thanks also cus my truck don't have fog lights and thats also why i want the edge bumper so i can put oe fogs on it .

You can even just switch lower valances with fog holes, get it painted and add the fogs.

So i dont need the bumper as well thats great it just cus i thought the bumper from the edge was shorter then the XLT4x2 cool ill just order the lower part and call it a day

the edge's use the 4x4 bumper, and they bolt right up

with a 2WD XLT bumper

you can use a 2wd bumper, but you have to trim off the ears on the valance

When you do the new bumper are you going to use an OEM Fog Light Switch setup ?

If so let me know what you will need for a new Radio Bezel and we can talk about swapping bezels.

What does your existing radio bezel look like ?

I have the factory bezel i did switch out the head unit i put in a double din i had to trim it so i would fit but u cant tell that i did

Yes i an going to use OEM type switch my truck looks like already all wired up fuses and all well at least i hope so

Do you already have a bezel with the OEM Switch in it ?

If not post a pic of what your bezel looks like and i will see if I have one, maybe we can trade ?

No i dont i still need the switch and bezel im going to start to look for them soon and OEM IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!!! Well for my truck i like OEM but my mustang is hooked up thats muscle all the way but thats a different form all together lol

You can contact a member by the name of Buggman...he makes a pretty nice plug-and-play wiring harness that allows easy hook up of the tricky factory fog switch.
