are idler pulleys supposed to have slop? the original one on there has slight play in the bearing, also when mounted it has front to back play of about 1/16-1/8 inch. bought a new one (no bearing slop) and mounted. there is the same front to back play!? any ideas? my plan so far is to just go to...
im just noticing this tonight, battery light came on and the volts gauge is reading in the the green but on the low end. when parked it will be enough to not have the battery light on, when i rev it to 2k the volts go down a bit and battery light comes on. ?

well today i noticed that once i go over 50 mph in gear and underpower (so staying at speed or accel.), i get wicked like road noise from the rear of the truck. if you push the clutch in and coast it goes away. its LOUD though, almost reminds me of having no exhaust or big mudder tires kinda...
ok so im putting a tach in my brothers 93 toyota pickup, after alot of research, the only way to get a tach signal is from the ignitor coil thing under the hood. i was hoping i could tap into the wire at the cluster, but only some non-tach trucks had it pre wired for it(of course this one isnt)...
well these are the shocks ive had on since April when i lowered it (3 months-ish ago, so about 3k miles). would you say this is leaking or is it from heat or something from the exhaust? never noticed it when i had the last set of shocks doing this. its got greasy crap all over it, i wiped it...
