Yeah just replace the sending units with the units for the mechanical gauges or find you a T that you can use with the sending unit and mechanical gauges.

I think they are trying to rip you off. Iirc they didn't start chipping ranger keys until 99 or 00

Check it to see if it needs freon if it's to low on freon the compressor won't kick in.

Clinton hasn't been on in a while he was going thru some personal issues last I heard from him. Haven't talked to him in a couple months.

Check and make sure you have it in park or the clutch pushed in all the way if it's standard.

Look in the how to's for a step by step guide but as far as modding something the only thing I had to mod was the corners so they would accept my factory bulb holder. My bulb holders were a little bigger than what the 01-03 corners wanted to accept.

Trucks on power block tv did the 4.6l swap in a Mazda b2500(ranger) I believe they did it in an 01 and they had to do a but load of mods to get it to fit and even after all the mods there where several issues that I would think would end up being clearance issues later on down the road.

It should. If it's not a direct bolt up you can always mod it to fit with an exhaust coupler and exhaust clamps until you can get it welded in.
