Looks like a good time! Sand is alot fun! Not fun to detail afterward though. Sand gets in every nook and cranny when you drive on it like an asshat like me! lol.

Goonies was filmed about 100 miles south in Astoria, Oregon and about 125 miles south in Cannon Beach (the rock scenes). Unfortunately, I don't think they allow you to drive on either beach anymore.
