Looking into eventually getting the Superchips Flashpaq Tuner 1865 for my 99 ranger 3.0 4x4 auto.

Anyone out there using this with their 3.0s please give me some reviews, advice, info, and etc..
    Is it worth the money?
Do u notice a power gain, towing, mpg difference?

    Is your ranger a 99?
The stuff i read online says you can also recalibrate the speedo for bigger tires? I was under the assumption 01- and older ranges didnt have that option in the computer, that it was a physical change needed to recalibrate the speedo.

I know the site says it works for 99-10 rangers, so i am guessing the speedo recalibration is mentioned in there for the 02 + newer rangers.

    Can you verify that??

I have an 04 and I can calibtate for bigger tires. It helps more the just the speedom. When I put 32s on my truck it handled so stiff and terrible breaking. Once I put the size in my superchip it made the truck seem like it had the stock tire size. Also a huge power gain for hauling. And performance mode is great. U can also take the speed limiter and rev limiter off with it. I am extremely happy with mine

Hey Agreager18, see if u can help me.

I plugged my flashpaq in today, not sure how I got to the Tire change height menu option, but I was able to change sizes, but I was trying to adjust for my 33s, and thought I selected it, and then clicked ok.
I compared my Speedo to my gps it was still off about 6mph.
When I tried to find that tire menu again, I can't find it!!!
How do I get back to it?
    What menu is it under??

I am having an issue with my flashpaq... it wont turn on when i plug it into the truck... it does turn on when i plug the usb port to my computer....

anyone know whats going on.. its been like 3 weeks since i last plugged it in.

Maybe its not a flashpaq issue, maybe my obd port is screwed up or something? how do i test it?

Yep thanks. Had to track it down. Its number 17 a 25amp fuse.
    It was blown.
    What would cause that???

old fuse, black magic, elves, random surge for some reason, connecting the flashpaq, any number of things.

I had the same issue, it was from the cig lighter wires touching when I took the bezel off, blew the fuse

    FOR ALL FLASHPAQ OWNERS:

Just a reminder, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR Flashpaq in your truck over night or for long periods of time if you live in a place where it gets cold, freezing, snow in the winter...
The devices do not like extreme HEAT or COLD!
    Just a tip...
