What brand oil and filter do you use?

Dcrymes99ranger

Riding low and broke!!!
What brand of oil do you use in your Ranger or daily driver. For my Ranger I use Motorcraft oil 5w 20 and Motorcraft filter.

i used valvoline oil and a stp for oil and stp oil filters.... napa filters from what i have been told are made by wix..... and they are a really good filter

why Whats wrong with motorcraft
Seal leaked on it and I was down 2.5 quarts when I changed it.

Yes, don't. lol

Mobil 1 5W20 full synthetic scince it was new, and usually a fram filter, although i was using penskie filters i had for a while. i had about 4 of 'em in my basement, lol.

I use super tech or motorcraft filters both have metal insides and chk valves!!!
super tech 5-w30 oil synthetic changed every 3k miles or valvoline synthetic same weight and yes both are full synthetics!

motorcraft or purolator with valvoline max life 5w-30 for the ranger and valvoline conventional 20w-50 and a motorcraft fl1a for the tbird

K&N HP-2010 filter
Mobil 1 5W30 for summer, 0W30 for winter.

Changes every 5k (or recently, once a year. lol.)

Used to rock Royal Purple 5W30 til it became $10 a quart!!

Mobile 1 with MotorCraft Filter.
If I could find WIX Filters I would use them.

I believe NAPA filters are made by WIX...Napa stickers just slapped on.

i still change mine every 3K

Alot of folks feel I swap fluids too often....being synthetic and all...

K&N oil filter and 5w30 Royal Purple. I work at an auto store so I can get the filter and oil for around 7 a piece.

I miss the $10 K&N filters and $5 qt Royal Purples from yesteryear....2006-2008. haha.
