    that's really cool. my buddie's hunting cabin is basically the same idea, only about 98% of the materieals were free, and it's nowhere near as nice. i think if you moved it it would fall apart, lol.

    all this talk of trailers reminded me that i need to find out about moving the 5th wheel camper my buddie wants to give me too, lol.
     
  8. THEN why have a place on WHEELS if you never intend to leave?

    It all about adventure man live a little I tell all my friends that live in a small town to get out and explore .Do it while your young and not tied down it is a blast.

    it shouldnt be to bad i hauled a forklift with my truck and the trailer was 1500lb and the forklift itself was about 4.5 tons

    I call bull**** on that one. That's 10,500 lbs. The leaf springs in your truck are rated at less than 1500 lbs each.

    to ignore brad because i had a bad today and to get back to the original topic, i found out you can buy kits to make stuff like these or buy the prints to make one

    Yea they're definitely nice. Have you priced out buying a camper lately!?! :eek:

    MAYBE 2K in a home made camper vs 10K+ on a used camper...kinda common sense.

    yeah and camper just look ugly as hell, these little homes look good and are made to live in all year round

  21. IDK, I lived in a 32' motorhome for 5 years, it had basement storage and fully self contained. but by the time we were settling down, we were overloaded. seems like I always " needed" something a new tool or whatever. and the space just goes away away lol

    However I would do it all again, but in a pusher not a gasser!
