    Good Deal…
I have an older steppie bed around mid 90s on my 03 EDGE std cab.

    No problem.

Correct me if Im wrong here by saying the stepside bed will ONLY fit if you already have a stepside. I dont think it'll fit if you have a fleetside 6' bed. If I remember correctly, the body mounts dont line up?

I believe its fine Brad. Both guys up there seemed to not have any issues..

I had a 6' fleetside on mine and the stepside that I got lined up perfectly. I've never heard of anyone having issues.

Well i changed the bed, it turned out to be a 96 not a 99 but fit great!! Just one problem, I cant raise or lower my spare tire.. There is no provision for it.. I dont have a pic of that sorry,,

  14. Keep the tire in the bed, or drill a hole big enough to lower it

you stole that bed.... the ony bad thing is if you need to replace one of the bedsides and cant find a good one in a jy and have to order from somewhere like lmctruck they want over 300 bucks for one side......

you might be able to cut a hole in the bed where the "tube" part that you stick your tire iron into is so you can get into it. dont throw it in the bed lol

My truck was an 03 EDGE Styleside and the Steppie bed went on with no major problems.
The fuel fill tube needed to be changed and as stated above the spare lift needed a hole.

Didn't change anything except new bolts.

Very nice. Since my truck's becoming a wheeling machine, I've been thinking of switching to a fleet side bed.

Just keep an eye out for the fiberglass munching beetles that can smell a stepside Ranger from miles off.

Hey, how did this work out ?

Any problems other than a new gas filler tube and the spare tire crane ?
