it was at belle tire yesterday for a new hub and bearing and dad drove it to flint and on his way back bam all 4 lugs broke and wheel went flying into a field. my dad was driving it. it would have killed him if he didnt feel something was wrong and got off i-96. he was going 80 mph on i-96 but when this happened he went on a side road to try and limp it home. when it happened he was going 25 mph and if he was going faster he would have went into a 6 foot drop and 3 foot deep drainage ditch that was 3 feet from where the car stopped. i am just glad he is ok.

that sucks man! my mother had the exact same thing happen with her '78 trans am SE, only with the rear wheel, at highway speeds. thank god it was at 3 AM, she spun about 5 times across 4 lanes and the median.

ya and the guy is the one paying for everything to be fixed and fired

  11. I doubt they're going to fire him over it... Probably send him back for training again like most companies do. It's truly disgraceful if you ask me.

DAMN! So glad your old man is alright. My best friend just lost his dad last Fri and his memorial/party celebrating his life was today. I just can't imagine losing mine and this one with my friend really really hit home and made me realize some things. Someone up there was watching after your dad.
