Alright, so my mom has a 99 Mercury Sable that's seen it's better days and is soon to be on it's way out. So before they get rid of it, I was thinking about putting the leather seats into my truck. Would they work? Or would they need so much modification that it's not even worth it? I know there's the "what seats will fit in your ranger" thread, but these weren't listed so I'm assuming that nobody tried it or they won't fit.

There would have to be alot of modding, swapping brackets. You just got new seats, Are you tired of them already?
No, I was just curious lol I love them, but I was thinking if I could get a set of free leathers, why not? haha. Yeah, if there's going to be that much I'll just leave em be. I'll strip the car and part it out and make some cash off of it that way instead of sending the thing to the yard for pocket change.
Hahahaha. Everybody says that. But hey, at least working on the truck constantly keeps me out of trouble!
Hell, I fit dodge dakota seats in my truck... And dont you already have some really nice seats? I wouldnt EVER put leather in.
Easier to clean the mud off of lol Yeah, you bolted em to 2x4s and then bolted them into the floor. Hahaha.
WHAT, Brad of all people knows better than that lol hahaha I hope it was pressure treated for the PA weather lol actually you dont want pressure treated wood near you , as bad stuff happens when you breathe it.
Won't they be too wide ? Will they center up on the steering wheel ? There are plenty of other options, not free, but better fit.
