modded my toolbox today

modded my tool box so that it has lights in it so i can see what im grabbing outa it at night, wired it straight to my cargo lights so when i turn them on the leds turn on, here my day pictures will get a night one when its dark out

from my quick boost test lastnight looks like they are bright enough but not day time bright

 

As long as it lights up that area you should be good!

 

yup and if one strip isnt bright enough i have a second one to add

Nice mod.
I did something similar under my hood, just made a bulb base adapter & plugged it into the under hood light socket & attached the strip along the top of the hood.
MUCH more light than that dinky bulb ever thought of putting out.

 

looks good maybe could mount an amber one too then raise the lid when having truck problems or a flat per say

 

Then wire it into your hazards. I like that idea. Do it up bro!

personally i would add the second strip... but of course im about as blinda as a bat....

Put one strip on each end & one in the center of the box right below the lip.
